- •Lyft is seeking a Data Scientist specializing in Optimization to design and scale incentive systems for driver engagement and marketplace efficiency.
- •You will influence long-term strategy and deliver on critical business goals.
- •Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and iterate on new features and algorithmic improvements for driver incentives.
- •Develop and deploy optimization models and algorithms for budget allocation and incentive targeting.
- •Write production model code and collaborate with Software Engineers.
- •Perform exploratory data analysis to understand the marketplace and users.
- •Communicate findings and facilitate launch decisions with stakeholders.
- •Ensure robust experimentation and causal inference methodologies are applied.
- •Requirements Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in a quantitative field or equivalent experience. 2+ years of hands-on experience in optimization, causal inference, or machine learning.
- •End-to-end experience with data, including querying, aggregation, analysis, and visualization.
- •Proficiency with Python and SQL.
- •Strong ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.
- •Experience designing, running, and analyzing A/B tests.
