- •Operate sawmill machinery to turn logs into lumber at our mill in New Albany, Mississippi.
- •Key Responsibilities Operate sawmill machinery, including saws, conveyors, and sorting systems Feed and align logs, and adjust settings to keep production running smoothly Check logs and lumber for quality as they move through the line Handle routine upkeep and minor fixes, and report bigger issues to maintenance Follow safety procedures and lockout/tagout every time Requirements Experience running industrial, manufacturing, or sawmill equipment is a plus Mechanical aptitude and a knack for troubleshooting Attention to detail and comfort in a fast-paced, physical environment Dependable attendance and reliable transportation to the mill Able to pass a background check
