TL;DR
Maintain facilities, perform repairs, and support infrastructure upgrades across company campuses.
- •As a facilities technician, you will be part of a team responsible for maintaining all facilities across our El Segundo and Port of Long Beach campuses.
- •We are looking for a facilities technician who enjoys solving problems independently and taking ownership of projects, can work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and shares our passion for building infrastructure to support our company’s goals.
- •Key Responsibilities Partner with Long Wall employees to maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
- •Support maintenance, infrastructure upgrades, and preventative maintenance including basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
- •Diagnose issues with building systems and equipment, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
- •Operate and deliver complete work assignments through mobile CMMS software.
- •Respond promptly to emergencies and support external vendors and contractors.
- •Requirements High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
- •Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance and repair, OR 1-2 years of experience with specialized training in HVAC, tool repair, machine maintenance, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, or construction.
- •Proficient with hand and power tools, PPE, and OSHA safety requirements.
- •Experience using CMMS software and a valid driver's license.
