TL;DR
Design and implement backend services for a brokerage API platform.
- •As a Backend Engineer at lemon.markets, you will design and implement backend services and architecture for a brokerage API platform, enabling FinTechs and banks to embed investing into their products.
- •You will own features end-to-end, focusing on reliability and scalability within cross-functional teams.
- •Key Responsibilities Design and implement backend services and architecture for a brokerage API platform.
- •Take ownership of features and services from design to production.
- •Focus on Customer Lifecycle, Investing, or Banking processes to ensure core platform reliability and scalability.
- •Contribute to architectural decisions and business strategy.
- •Collaborate with a cross-functional team of experts.
- •Requirements Proficiency in writing well-structured and tested code in multiple high-level programming languages (e.g., Python, Golang, Java, Ruby) and another language like Javascript or Typescript.
- •Experience in designing and implementing highly scalable architecture and reliable REST APIs.
- •Good experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their architectural patterns.
- •Understanding of document-based or relational database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- •Ability to write high-quality, understandable, and maintainable code, and guide others through code reviews.
