TL;DR
Lead the entire engineering organization, owning technical vision, architecture, and execution.
- •LeafLink is seeking a Head of Engineering to lead its entire engineering organization.
- •This role owns the technical vision, architecture, and health of every engineering function, ensuring teams effectively translate strategy into reliable software.
- •You will report directly to executive leadership, partner closely with Product, and represent engineering at the leadership table.
- •Key Responsibilities Translate company, product, and technology objectives into a 1-3 year engineering plan, operating model, and execution roadmap.
- •Create and lead the engineering organizational structure, recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent.
- •Establish engineering-wide standards for planning, estimation, and delivery, and manage technical architecture, infrastructure, security, and technical debt.
- •Partner with product and business stakeholders to translate customer requirements into engineering priorities and deliver features with measurable customer impact.
- •Requirements 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with 7+ years leading engineering managers.
- •Experience in marketplaces or enterprise platforms and building large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.
- •Proven track record setting technical vision and translating it into a trusted roadmap.
- •Hands-on background with modern cloud-native architecture (AWS, IaC, containers).
- •Experience owning security and compliance programs, including SOC 2 controls.
