About the role

TL;DR

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot network equipment and infrastructure.

•Kyivstar Tech is seeking a Middle Network Engineer to install, maintain, and troubleshoot network equipment.
•This role involves hands-on work with switches, routers, and wireless access points, ensuring the physical and logical integrity of the network infrastructure.
•Key Responsibilities Install and replace network equipment (switches, routers, APs).
•Manage physical network patching and cable management.
•Troubleshoot physical connectivity and hardware failures.
•Perform on-site network maintenance and implement planned changes.
•Requirements 2+ years of experience in network engineering or operations.
•Good understanding of TCP/IP and OSI model.
•Hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment.
•Knowledge of Layer 2 (VLANs, STP, LACP) and Layer 3 (IPv4, OSPF, BGP) networking.
•Experience with Wi-Fi networks (APs, WLCs, SSIDs).
