- •As the Senior Engineering Manager, you will serve as the global leader for Quality Engineering across Kong's flagship runtime platforms.
- •This is a high-visibility, transformative leadership role focused on architecting Kong's next-generation AI-driven testing strategy.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and grow a geographically distributed team of SDETs.
- •Define and execute the roadmap for integrating AI, LLMs, and autonomous test agents into the testing lifecycle.
- •Establish testing strategies for low-latency, high-throughput data planes.
- •Oversee the architectural evolution of automation harnesses within modern CI/CD pipelines.
- •Drive quality ownership upstream and embed testability standards into designs.
- •Requirements 10+ years in Software Engineering / SDET with a proven track record. 4+ years in Engineering Management, leading distributed or global teams.
- •Proven experience applying LLMs, Generative AI, or autonomous agent frameworks to software quality.
- •Demonstrated ability to manage follow-the-sun operational cadence and cross-timezone execution.
