About the role
TL;DR
Flight Operations Engineer responsible for real-time toolset development and flight operations support.
- •As a Flight Operations Engineer, you will work within the Flight Operations and Licensing team, performing tasks related to flight operations.
- •The team handles a wide range of topics, from mission and flight safety critical assessments to supporting flight operations from the mission control room.
- •Key Responsibilities Manage the development of flight operations real-time toolset and their interface with existing tools and APIs.
- •Manage processes for COLA, antenna pointing, and flight monitoring.
- •Support flight operations by managing pre and during flight procedures related to mission and safety critical systems.
- •Manage mission configuration for mission critical and safety critical systems.
- •Perform test and flight operations from the mission control.
- •Requirements Bachelor/master’s degree in aerospace engineering, Systems Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering or similar.
- •Knowledge of orbital mechanics and launch vehicle flight trajectories.
- •Proven experience on Python/MATLAB/C++ or similar.
- •At least 2 years of experience working in launch/flight operations related fields.
- •Capability to work in control rooms in high stress environments.
