- •Instawork Robotics Labs is building Instacore, a proprietary wearable capture rig.
- •We are seeking a senior mechanical engineer to own the complete hardware lifecycle for Instacore and future products.
- •Key Responsibilities Own the mechanical design and development of robotics hardware from requirements through production.
- •Create detailed CAD models, assemblies, and manufacturing documentation.
- •Rapidly prototype and validate designs using 3D printing and machining.
- •Investigate field failures and implement corrective improvements.
- •Manage vendors, fabricators, and contract manufacturers.
- •Requirements 5-7 years of hands-on experience designing and delivering physical products or robotics hardware.
- •Advanced proficiency with CAD software.
- •Strong experience with rapid prototyping and 3D printing.
- •Experience taking products from prototype through scaled production.
- •Ability to independently prioritize work and make engineering decisions.
