- •The Inherent Research Fellowship invites 3-5 exceptional PhD students to spend 14 weeks living in our experiment.
- •Fellows will pioneer new and creative ideas in AI research, with access to industry-scale compute and frontier hardware.
- •Key Responsibilities Conduct research in open-endedness, recursive self-improvement, AI Scientist systems, and efficient model training.
- •Access and utilize industry-scale compute and frontier hardware.
- •Elect to work on Inherent’s core models or drive a parallel research project.
- •Publish research work.
- •Participate fully in organizational experiments and design/evaluate unusual bets.
- •Requirements Currently pursuing a PhD.
- •Exceptional research potential and creativity.
- •Interest in AI agents, recursive self-improvement, and AI-enabled science.
- •Ability to collaborate effectively and work in a high-intensity environment.
- •Strong academic background with potential for publication.
