About the role
TL;DR
Senior Frontend Engineer to build and evolve satellite tasking and data analysis UIs.
- •Build intuitive web interfaces that turn satellite tasking into transparent, reliable customer experiences.
- •You will join the Missions UI team responsible for a customer-facing Web UI that enables tasking ICEYE's satellite fleet and analyzing the resulting data.
- •Key Responsibilities Ship features and improvements to the tasking-to-delivery Web UIs reliably and predictably.
- •Raise frontend code quality and maintainability through clean, well-tested React/TypeScript contributions.
- •Maintain reliability, observability, and performance of live production UIs.
- •Translate product, customer, and stakeholder input into shipped solutions.
- •Contribute occasionally full-stack to backend APIs (Node.js/TS, Postgres) when needed.
- •Requirements Deep, senior level experience in frontend software development, with excellent knowledge of React, TypeScript, and CSS.
- •Experience owning the architecture of a frontend subsystem and making real trade-offs.
- •Understanding of REST APIs, backend integration patterns, and CI/CD pipelines.
- •Ability and willingness to occasionally go fullstack and contribute to backend APIs using Node.js/TS and Postgres.
- •Experience working with live production systems with safe daily deployments.
