About the role
TL;DR
Manage data center operations, including personnel, equipment, and infrastructure.
- •As an Associate Manager, Data Center Operations, you'll be at the forefront of our mining operation, ensuring that our critical infrastructure is running 24/7.
- •You'll be working directly with the Manager, Data Center Operations, overseeing all routine and preventive maintenance activities, building and training a team of technicians, and using your expertise to keep our equipment running at peak efficiency.
- •Key Responsibilities Help the Manager, Data Center Operations manage all aspects of the operations, including personnel, equipment, and infrastructure.
- •Mentor, train, and develop technicians and specialists so that they can support daily operations with minimal supervision.
- •Manage and facilitate purchasing and inventory control across all data center assets and equipment.
- •Create, manage, and execute on preventative maintenance plans for data center equipment.
- •Spearhead fixes and improvements with other departments such as IT, HR, Networking, and Software.
- •Requirements 2+ years of supervisory experience in a critical infrastructure environment.
- •Strong leadership qualities and hands-on technical experience.
- •Experience with commercial mechanical and electrical systems.
- •Must live within a 1-hour commute from the designated work site location.
- •Must pass a motor vehicle check.
