Lead architecture and scaling of a unified communications platform.
- •Lead architecture and scaling of a unified communications platform to orchestrate member outreach across SMS, email, push, and in-app channels, integrating ML-driven intelligence to improve engagement and outcomes.
- •Key Responsibilities Architect and scale a high-throughput, low-latency communications engine across multiple channels.
- •Define long-term technical roadmap for proactive outreach and future capabilities like Conversational AI.
- •Integrate ML models into communication workflows with Data Science partners.
- •Ensure reliability, observability, and privacy for member-facing messaging systems.
- •Mentor engineers and establish engineering best practices (CI/CD, testing, monitoring).
- •Requirements 8+ years professional software engineering experience with distributed systems exposure. 2+ years experience with Python and TypeScript/Node.js. 2+ years experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization.
- •Experience with microservices and large-scale data processing.
- •Experience mentoring and leading junior engineers.
