TL;DR
Provide school-based mental health therapy services in person and via telehealth.
- •Backpack Healthcare is seeking a School-Based Mental Health Clinician to provide accessible, trauma-informed mental health care directly in Maryland schools.
- •This hybrid role combines in-person and telehealth services to support students, families, and school teams.
- •Key Responsibilities Conduct intake evaluations and risk assessments.
- •Develop individualized, trauma-informed treatment plans.
- •Provide individual, group, and family therapy.
- •Collaborate with school staff, families, and the clinical team.
- •Complete accurate clinical documentation.
- •Requirements Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
- •Active Maryland license (LCSW-C, LMSW, LCPC, LGPC, LCMFT).
- •Minimum 1 year of experience providing therapy to children and adolescents.
- •Familiarity with trauma-informed care and school-based systems.
- •Commitment to culturally responsive care.
