About the role
TL;DR
Lead Clinical Psychologist to build and manage a new psychology program.
- •Backpack Health is seeking an experienced Lead Clinical Psychologist to launch and lead its clinical psychology program.
- •This role involves building a program from the ground up, starting with comprehensive psychological evaluations and growing into a broader leadership and supervision role.
- •Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and families, assessing for ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and other developmental concerns.
- •Build and lead the psychology program by establishing clinical standards, workflows, and quality expectations in partnership with leadership.
- •Provide clinical supervision to psychology staff, ensuring compliance with state laws, licensing requirements, and ethical standards.
- •Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create an accessible, high-quality, and culturally responsive psychology program.
- •Requirements Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, School Psychology, or a closely related field.
- •Active and unrestricted psychologist license in at least one state where Backpack Health operates, with eligibility to obtain licensure in Georgia, Michigan, Virginia, and Illinois.
- •Demonstrated experience conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations, particularly for ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- •Strong knowledge of standardized psychological testing, diagnostic formulation, report writing, and professional ethics.
- •Entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for building a new clinical program from the ground up.
