TL;DR
Lead the cloud platform and reliability engineering team, ensuring high availability of AI healthcare services.
- •This role leads the team responsible for Heidi's cloud platform and reliability practice, ensuring the continuous availability of critical healthcare AI services for millions of patient visits weekly.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead and grow the platform team, setting direction, managing hiring, and ensuring sustainable on-call load.
- •Own Heidi's multi-region cloud footprint, including compute, networking, data stores, and Kubernetes.
- •Define and enforce reliability standards, including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
- •Manage incident response, including severity definitions, escalation paths, and post-incident reviews.
- •Partner with engineering leads to improve deployment processes and reduce change failure rates.
- •Requirements Significant experience leading cloud infrastructure or SRE teams at scale, preferably in a regulated environment.
- •Deep, hands-on skill with a major cloud provider, Kubernetes, Terraform, and modern observability stacks.
- •Proven experience defining and enforcing SLOs, managing error budgets, and commanding incident response.
- •Track record designing for high availability across regions, considering data residency and DR.
- •A service mindset towards product engineers, measuring platform success by team velocity.
