About the role
TL;DR
Lead test automation strategy and architect testing frameworks for regulated SaMD products.
- •Heartflow is seeking a senior individual contributor and technical leader to set the direction for end-to-end automated testing and tool validation across regulated SaMD products.
- •This role will drive an AI-first test automation strategy, architecting the testing framework for frontend, backend, 3D modeling, and AI/ML systems.
- •Key Responsibilities Set and evolve the technical strategy for end-to-end test automation.
- •Drive the AI-first approach to test automation, defining adoption of AI-assisted authoring and LLM-driven triage.
- •Architect and own post-deployment testing capabilities and tool validation strategy.
- •Lead deep root-cause investigations and define how automated tests integrate into CI/CD.
- •Requirements 8-12 years of experience in software test engineering with a strong record as a hands-on technical leader.
- •Substantial experience testing Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) or other regulated medical device software.
- •Expert-level proficiency with Selenium/WebDriver and Playwright.
- •Strong programming skills in at least one mainstream automation language (e.g., Python, TypeScript, Java, C#).
