  • The Baseball Tech Manager
  • Data Systems is responsible for the production readiness, deployment, monitoring, support, and continuous improvement of Baseball's post-game data systems, aligning with live game operations across cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Key Responsibilities Own production deployments for Baseball post-game data systems and related cloud/on-prem components.
  • Serve as a Tech subject matter expert for Baseball data products and own data reprocessing workflows.
  • Monitor data pipelines, product health, and production environments, building and maintaining observability dashboards.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and third-line support for Baseball data products and production incidents.
  • Build scripts, tools, and automation to improve reprocessing reliability and scale delivery.
  • Requirements 3+ years of experience in technical operations, product engineering, DevOps, or data operations.
  • Strong understanding of AWS services, data pipelines, APIs, databases, and monitoring tools like Datadog.
  • Experience with SQL, scripting, and automation for operational tooling.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across backend systems, cloud infrastructure, and operational processes.
  • Comfortable working in high-pressure live service environments.
