About the role
TL;DR
Build backend and frontend systems for an AI Investigation Agent.
- •As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Hawk, you will build the engine and experience for our agentic AI Investigation Agent, a new product that rethinks how human analysts collaborate with autonomous AI to investigate financial crime.
- •Key Responsibilities Design, build, and operate the backend systems that power the Investigation Agent.
- •Build the frontend surface that makes the agent's work legible.
- •Own features end-to-end, from spec to production.
- •Make the agent reliable by building eval harnesses, tracing, and feedback loops.
- •Partner closely with Product/UX, Data Science, and Engineering to shape what gets built.
- •Requirements 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- •Deep backend expertise in Python, FastAPI, Postgres, Redis, and Kubernetes.
- •Strong frontend chops in React, TypeScript, and modern component libraries.
- •Genuinely full-stack mindset.
- •Hands-on fluency with agentic coding tools.
- •Excellent holistic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- •Excellent communicator with a collaborative mindset.
