About the role
TL;DR
Lead financial planning, forecasting, and analysis for a high-growth B2B SaaS company.
- •Halcyon is seeking a Senior Director of FP&A to partner with the COO and executive team, leading financial planning, forecasting, performance analysis, and board-level reporting to support business scaling.
- •Key Responsibilities Own the annual operating plan, quarterly re-forecasts, and monthly forecasting processes.
- •Build and maintain financial models across ARR, revenue, headcount, operating expenses, gross margin, cash flow, and key SaaS metrics.
- •Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting packages with clear variance analysis, root causes, projections, and actionable insights.
- •Serve as a strategic finance partner to business leaders across go-to-market and G&A functions.
- •Own KPI reporting and performance tracking across ARR, MRR, churn, GRR, NRR, LTV:CAC, burn multiple, and Rule of 40.
- •Requirements 10+ years of experience in FP&A, finance, or related analytical roles at high-growth B2B SaaS companies.
- •Deep expertise in SaaS metrics: ARR/MRR, GRR, NRR, LTV:CAC, Rule of 40, burn multiple.
- •Advanced financial modeling skills in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with FP&A platforms such as Adaptive, Anaplan, Mosaic, or Pigment preferred.
- •Experience preparing materials for, and presenting to, executive leadership and a board of directors.
- •Strong business partnering skills, with the ability to translate financial complexity into practical recommendations.
