About the role
TL;DR
Develop and maintain customer-facing software for grid capacity analysis and infrastructure decision workflows.
- •This is a senior full-stack role for an engineer who can move quickly, iterate with product and UX partners, and think carefully about long-term architecture.
- •Key Responsibilities Own customer-facing product experiences for grid capacity analysis, project planning, and infrastructure decision workflows.
- •Design and evolve the backend-for-frontend layer, API contracts, data access patterns, and integrations that support those workflows.
- •Partner with product managers and UX designers to translate customer needs into fast iterations and shipped product improvements.
- •Collaborate with backend, data, AI, and power systems teams to turn complex technical outputs into clear, reliable product experiences.
- •Help shape engineering standards, architecture decisions, testing practices, and product quality for a growing engineering team.
- •Requirements Senior-level experience building and shipping production web applications.
- •Deep experience with TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as Next.js, React, Vite-based applications, or similar.
- •Experience integrating frontend applications with backend APIs and backend-for-frontend patterns.
- •Comfortable working with Python/FastAPI or similar backend frameworks, and with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
- •Experience building data-intensive product experiences where correctness, performance, and usability all matter.
- •Ability to clarify ambiguous requirements, make thoughtful tradeoffs, and ship useful increments quickly.
- •Balance bias for action with long-term technical judgment.
