- •Grafana Labs is seeking a Staff Product Manager to own the end-to-end journey for OpenTelemetry data ingestion into Grafana Cloud.
- •This role focuses on making Grafana Cloud the easiest and most trusted destination for OpenTelemetry workloads, reducing complexity and uncertainty for users.
- •Key Responsibilities Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the OpenTelemetry experience in Grafana Cloud.
- •Create coherent and opinionated experiences for SDK instrumentation, automatic instrumentation, and Collector deployment.
- •Identify and eliminate common causes of setup failure and low-quality telemetry.
- •Partner with downstream Grafana Cloud solution teams to ensure a seamless transition from ingestion to product activation.
- •Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Developer Relations, and GTM teams to deliver a differentiated OpenTelemetry experience.
- •Requirements 5+ years of Product Management experience in developer tools, observability, or complex B2B products.
- •Strong working knowledge of OpenTelemetry, including SDKs, OTLP, and Collectors.
- •Experience with instrumentation systems, agents, or telemetry collectors.
- •Understanding of challenges in deploying and operating software across cloud environments.
- •Proven ability to use customer research and product data to drive decisions and outcomes.
