About the role
TL;DR
Serve as a strategic technical advisor for GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform.
- •As a Senior Solutions Architect, you’ll act as a strategic technical advisor to GitLab prospects and customers in the East region of the United States, guiding them on how to leverage GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform to solve technical issues and achieve business goals across the full software development lifecycle.
- •Key Responsibilities Guide technical discovery, product demonstrations, and validation activities to confirm technical fit and accelerate evaluation milestones.
- •Own the technical evaluation process for complex opportunities, including solution design and proof of concept execution.
- •Develop end-to-end technical strategies for assigned accounts to expand platform adoption and enable transformation milestones.
- •Advise technical practitioners and business leaders on modern software development, CI/CD, security, and cloud adoption practices.
- •Represent the voice of the customer by sharing product feedback and field insights with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
- •Requirements Experience working with customers in technical pre-sales, consulting, or related roles guiding solution design and technical evaluations.
- •Knowledge of the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including DevSecOps practices, CI/CD, security, and cloud concepts.
- •Hands-on familiarity with GitLab or similar source code management, CI/CD, and collaboration platforms.
- •Experience facilitating workshops, leading proofs of concept, and contributing to technical assessments.
- •Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a customer-focused approach.
