About the role
TL;DR
Finance partner for cloud and AI infrastructure investments, providing analysis and decision support.
- •As a Senior FP&A Analyst, Cloud Hosting, you will be a finance partner on GitLab's Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team.
- •You will provide timely, fact-based analysis and decision support for cloud and AI infrastructure investments, translating complex financial, billing, and operational data into clear insights.
- •Key Responsibilities Manage and report on cloud and AI-related expenses, maintaining forecast models.
- •Execute month-end close activities, including accruals, allocations, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- •Support forecasting and annual planning cycles, and build or enhance financial models.
- •Partner with engineering, product, procurement, accounting, and finance stakeholders.
- •Analyze cloud billing information and translate findings into clear narratives and recommendations.
- •Requirements Experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or finance business partnering.
- •Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- •Ability to translate complex financial and operational information into clear narratives.
- •Ability to prioritize effectively, work independently, and communicate clearly in an asynchronous environment.
- •Experience with cloud and AI vendor spend.
