- •GitLab is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer for its Portfolio Experience team.
- •You will be an experienced product engineer focused on backend development, incorporating user needs into feature decisions and evolving the backend architecture for the work items platform.
- •Key Responsibilities Design and implement backend and real-time features in the GitLab monolith.
- •Build and evolve portfolio planning capabilities.
- •Improve PostgreSQL performance at scale.
- •Create proofs of concept and maintain automated test coverage.
- •Mentor engineers and open source contributors.
- •Requirements Experience representing the user perspective and working through trade-offs.
