  • GitGuardian is seeking a Senior Security Researcher to focus on secrets in the new world of agentic AI.
  • You will investigate novel tactics to find and abuse exposed credentials, publishing authoritative research and collaborating with engineering teams.
  • Key Responsibilities Investigate novel and existing tactics to find and abuse exposed credentials.
  • Analyze ongoing threats, explore new exploitation techniques, and document emerging tactics.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve product secret validation and coverage.
  • Track offensive trends and techniques, producing technical deep-dive articles or talks.
  • Leverage AI tools in research workflow for automation, analysis, or prototyping.
  • Requirements 5+ years of experience in a security engineer role, with 2+ years dedicated to research.
  • Strong offensive security background (pentesting, vulnerability research, red teaming).
  • Experience with reverse engineering and API/web security.
  • Comfortable with modern infrastructure (cloud platforms, AI/LLM ecosystems).
  • Proficient in Python, Go, or Rust, and data analysis.
