About the role
TL;DR
Manage data protection operations and embed privacy-by-design into product development.
- •This role involves partnering with business stakeholders to manage data protection workstreams and contribute to the legal team's use of AI tooling.
- •You will own core data protection operations and embed privacy-by-design into product development.
- •Key Responsibilities Own data protection operations end-to-end (DSARs, ROPA, DPIAs, retention).
- •Set legal standards for privacy operational processes.
- •Review and negotiate SaaS, vendor, and AI tool agreements.
- •Advise on AI features, new data flows, and high-impact processing activities.
- •Track regulatory developments in data protection and AI.
- •Requirements Expertise in GDPR compliance, data protection operations, and legal challenges of AI products. 3-5+ years of post-graduate work experience in data privacy and tech law.
- •Strong GDPR foundations (DPAs, DSARs, ROPA, DPIAs, retention).
- •Genuine interest in AI regulation and its legal implications.
- •Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
