Lead strategic initiatives across external affairs, government engagement, and operations.
- •As Program Manager, you will lead and coordinate strategic initiatives across external affairs, government engagement, community relations, operations, and internal cross-functional teams.
- •You will play a critical role in helping General Matter build and maintain trusted relationships with local communities, government stakeholders, regulators, industry partners, and strategic organizations while ensuring internal initiatives are executed effectively.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate cross-functional strategic programs supporting company growth, external engagement, and operational priorities.
- •Support government relations activities with federal, state, and local agencies and stakeholders.
- •Help manage community engagement initiatives, public outreach efforts, and local stakeholder communications.
- •Track permitting, regulatory, and external engagement activities and ensure timely follow-up and execution.
- •Partner with internal teams including Operations, Engineering, Legal, Communications, Security, Supply Chain, and Leadership to ensure alignment on key initiatives.
- •Requirements 7+ years of experience in program management, operations, government affairs, external affairs, community relations, project management, or related leadership roles.
- •Strong organizational and execution skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities.
- •Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- •Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-growth, and ambiguous environments.
- •Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Policy, Communications, Political Science, International Relations, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
