Optimize performance and reliability of AI accelerator's Linux kernel driver.
•Design and maintain the Linux kernel driver for Fractile's AI accelerator, working at the boundary between host and silicon to optimise performance and reliability.
•Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain kernel-space paths: PCIe device management, DMA, memory and interrupt handling.
•Define and evolve stable, debuggable userspace interfaces for runtimes.
•Collaborate with hardware, firmware, runtime and ML engineers in HW/SW co-design.
•Participate in pre-silicon simulation, bring-up, and performance tuning.
•Improve tooling and workflows to accelerate development safely.
•Requirements Shipped and maintained Linux kernel device drivers in production (PCIe-attached devices ideal).
•Strong systems, concurrency and performance instincts.
•Excellent C and/or Rust for building maintainable kernel code.
•Degree in a related field and 3+ years of industry experience.
