- •The Automation Systems Lead will own automation systems across the factory, including robot cells, conveyance, and controls.
- •Key Responsibilities Own automation systems across the factory: robot cells, conveyance, and the controls tying them into one line.
- •Set the automation architecture, PLCs, safety systems, and integration standards before the equipment is bought.
- •Lead integrator selection and hold them to acceptance criteria you write.
- •Commission cells to rate and keep them there: OEE owned at the system level.
- •Requirements You've led automation for a manufacturing line from concept through rate production.
- •You've specified and accepted integrator-built cells, and rejected the ones that didn't meet spec.
- •You're hands-on with PLCs, HMIs, and industrial networks when it matters.
- •You design safety in from the start: risk assessments, guarding, and functional safety.
- •You debug at 2am when the launch needs it and fix the root cause after.
