About the role
TL;DR
Build and own critical features for Finch's legal tech platform.
- •As a Member of the Technical Staff at Finch, you'll own critical features end-to-end, ship fast, and work directly alongside product, ops, and design in a codebase where your decisions matter from day one.
- •Key Responsibilities Own major features end-to-end, from architecture decisions through production release.
- •Build reliable, performant systems across our core workflows using Python/Django, React, and AWS.
- •Ship AI-powered functionality that turns legal complexity into clear, usable software for law firms.
- •Collaborate directly with product, ops, and design to define what gets built and why.
- •Shape our culture of our technical team, standards, and practices while we're still small enough for it to matter.
- •Requirements 3+ years building reliable, secure software in production.
- •Full-stack experience
- •comfortable across the frontend and backend.
- •Proficiency in Python and React, or demonstrably fast at picking up new stacks.
- •A track record of writing clean, testable, maintainable code.
