Senior Security Operations Engineer to enhance and evolve security capabilities.
- •Risk Ledger is building a network to defend against cybersecurity attacks in the supply chain.
- •This role is critical in maintaining and evolving the security of our product, business tools, people, and organization, with a significant long-term impact on our technical security strategy.
- •Key Responsibilities Enhance security monitoring, detection, and incident response capabilities across cloud, endpoint, and SaaS environments.
- •Improve vulnerability management through scanning, prioritization, and remediation.
- •Strengthen cloud security posture across AWS and GCP, focusing on identity management, telemetry, and network security.
- •Design and engineer scalable security capabilities and evolve the security telemetry and detection platform.
- •Partner with engineering teams to embed secure-by-design principles and evaluate emerging security technologies.
- •Requirements 5+ years of experience in Security Operations, Security Engineering, or Incident Response, ideally in a SaaS organization.
- •Strong hands-on experience securing cloud environments (AWS and/or GCP).
- •Deep experience with security monitoring, SIEM platforms, EDR, detection engineering, and incident response.
- •Experience automating security processes using scripting or software engineering skills (Python, Go, TypeScript/JavaScript, Bash).
- •Understanding of attacker techniques (MITRE ATT&CK) and translating them into effective detections.
