Government Partnership Manager - West

Lead efforts to grow and strengthen Bird's presence and partnerships in the communities we serve.

• •This position is responsible for leading efforts to grow and strengthen Bird's presence and partnerships in the communities we serve.
• •This individual will work directly with city staff, electeds, and community stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration between Bird's offering and city and community goals.
• •Key Responsibilities Build strong relationships with city staff and local stakeholders to identify common ground and advance Bird's policy goals.
• •Lead development and implementation of comprehensive community engagement strategy.
• •Organize and attend community meetings and events.
• •Support the development of win-win regulations that drive responsible growth of micromobility as a key modeshift tool for cities.
• •Work closely with operations partners to ensure Bird's service is at all times both responsive and responsible to the communities we serve.
• •Requirements 3+ years progressive experience in government relations, transportation advocacy, or community organizing.
• •Ability to build, and/or strengthen relationships with key community stakeholders including city officials.
• •Strong project management and organization, with a data-driven approach to solving problems.
