Software Engineer

Software Engineer to build MVPs and internal tools for Octopus Energy Spain.

• •We are looking for a Software Engineer to join a special team within Octopus Energy Spain, focused on quickly building impactful MVPs that make life easier for both our teams and our customers.
• •Your mission will be to identify real needs across the business, propose practical tech solutions, and bring them to life at speed.
• •Key Responsibilities Collaborate closely with different teams to understand workflows and identify needs.
• •Design, prototype, and build internal tools or MVPs to optimize processes or enhance customer experience.
• •Build and automate services, integrate with APIs, and work with SQL.
• •Identify opportunities, pitch and test ideas fast, and evolve solutions based on user feedback.
• •Work in a hybrid, flexible environment encouraging autonomy and experimentation.
• •Requirements Foundation in backend or fullstack development with experience in Python, JavaScript (Node.js), Ruby, React, Next.JS, Vue, or Angular.
• •Technical background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• •Passion for solving real-world problems with quick, effective tech solutions.
