Design and analyze structural systems for a state-of-the-art enrichment facility.
- •As a Structural Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in executing a state-of-the-art enrichment facility from concept through commissioning.
- •You will design, analyze, and ensure designs meet regulatory requirements for safety, performance, and compliance.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead structural design and analysis including establishing structural design criteria, performing detailed calculations, and analyzing systems.
- •Ensure compliance with NRC, ASME, ANSI, and other applicable codes and standards.
- •Collaborate with civil, mechanical, architectural, electrical, and chemical engineers to design and integrate safe and performant structural solutions.
- •Prepare and review code-compliant designs up to permit level, create comprehensive drawing sets (Revit/AutoCAD), and produce calculations, specifications, and technical reports for design validation.
- •Provide technical guidance during construction and commissioning, including responding to RFIs, city plan checks, submittals, and on-site inspections to resolve design issues.
- •Requirements Bachelor's degree in structural engineering or similar discipline. 8+ years of industry experience.
- •Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- •Structural Engineer (SE) license is required.
- •Experience working with reinforced concrete, steel structures, and seismic analysis.
- •Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.
- •Ability to work extended hours and weekends as necessary.
