Develop and maintain web and mobile tools for expense monitoring and spend control.

• •Pleo is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to join their Control Mechanism team, focusing on building tools for spend control, expense monitoring, and approval workflows.
• •This role involves working on both web and mobile surfaces, requiring a deep understanding of the underlying systems and business logic.
• •Key Responsibilities Build and maintain features across web and mobile surfaces for expense review, approval workflows, and spend controls.
• •Investigate and debug complex issues involving business logic, permissions, and data across multiple services.
• •Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver features end-to-end.
• •Contribute to technical decisions and help shape architecture evolution.
• •Requirements Solid experience with frontend development, ideally with React and React Native.
• •Genuine curiosity for how systems work end-to-end, including data and permissions.
• •Full-stack experience or a sound understanding of backend services, APIs, and data flows.
• •Strong investigation skills and business/product awareness.
