About the role
TL;DR
Lead engineering for the foundational platform, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
- •As VP of Engineering for Foundational Platform, you will own the technical backbone that every product team at Epidemic Sound builds on.
- •Key Responsibilities Own the reliability, scalability, and security of our core infrastructure.
- •Lead, mentor, and develop engineering managers and their teams.
- •Set and maintain a technical vision and roadmap for the platform.
- •Drive the Developer Experience agenda.
- •Champion agentic development practices across your teams.
- •Requirements Deep expertise in platform or infrastructure engineering.
- •At least 15 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 in leadership roles managing managers.
- •Proven technical leadership at scale in a role such as Director, VP, or CTO.
- •Experience with agentic AI systems in production.
- •Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
