TL;DR
Senior Data Analyst to drive growth in DRM and Music by providing data-driven insights and business cases.
- •Join an AI-native analytics team embedded within the commercial and product domains driving growth at Epidemic Sound.
- •You will work closely with DRM and Music leadership to enhance the Music & DRM business.
- •Key Responsibilities Act as a trusted thought partner to Music and DRM leadership, bringing structured thinking to complex questions.
- •Build business cases to drive decisions, translating platform data into commercial strategies and financial justifications.
- •Proactively identify growth opportunities and anticipate future demand through data-driven insights into music investments and customer behavior.
- •Connect on-platform activity with real-world music performance by combining internal and external data for deep-dive analyses.
- •Ensure data trustworthiness for AI-driven analytics by enriching context and metadata, and directly shipping instrumentation and data-quality fixes.
- •Requirements Proven ability to drive real business impact by shaping leadership decisions and influencing revenue outcomes.
- •High agency with a habit of driving decisions through tailored communication and data storytelling.
- •Sharp analytical instincts, with the ability to scope vague questions, state hypotheses, and reason to defensible answers.
- •Sound judgment about data, including a solid grasp of statistics and the discernment to know when past data predicts the future.
- •Technical versatility with proficiency in SQL, Python (notebooks in Hex), dbt (on BigQuery), and experience with AI coding tools.
