- •Axonius is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to own the architecture and evolution of scalable Python-based microservices, data integrations, and core platform capabilities.
- •In this role, you will act as a technical right-hand to the Engineering Team Lead, breaking down complex platform goals into structured execution roadmaps.
- •Key Responsibilities Architect and scale end-to-end Python backend systems, microservices, and APIs using AsyncIO, FastAPI, Celery, MongoDB, and Redis.
- •Lead end-to-end technical initiatives by breaking high-level platform goals into actionable sub-tasks, multi-phase delivery milestones, and backlog priorities.
- •Build high-throughput integrations with external APIs, third-party software applications, and complex data sources.
- •Requirements 5+ years of software development experience specializing in backend systems architecture and distributed components.
- •Hands-on proficiency in Python or C# with demonstrated expertise in clean code architecture, object-oriented design, and maintainable software patterns.
- •Proven track record of leading technical projects from design through production deployment, including task breakdown, milestone planning, and risk mitigation.
- •Practical experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs, asynchronous communication flows, and multi-tier data pipelines.
