• •Kong is seeking a motivated Security Engineer to protect its platforms, systems, and services.
• •This role involves working across cloud infrastructure, production systems, and engineering teams to build security into every layer of the business.
• •You will identify risks, strengthen security posture, and ensure customer trust in Kong's critical workloads.
• •Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and improve security controls across cloud infrastructure and internal systems.
• •Partner with Engineering, DevOps, and Platform teams to embed security best practices.
• •Monitor, detect, investigate, and respond to security incidents.
• •Perform security assessments, vulnerability management, and risk analysis.
• •Improve identity and access management, secrets management, and privileged access controls.
• •Requirements Strong experience in Security Engineering, Cloud Security, or Infrastructure Security.
• •Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
