TL;DR
Quantitative analyst to support founders with data-driven insights and decision-making.
- •Easyship is seeking a quantitatively brilliant and commercially astute analyst to act as the founder's "second brain" in data.
- •This role sits at the center of the business, transforming data into insights that shape top-level decisions.
- •Key Responsibilities Act as the founder's analytical right hand, stress-testing ideas and bringing data views to decisions.
- •Build a connected picture of the business by understanding how different functions' data fits together.
- •Write performant SQL to interrogate company data across various systems.
- •Utilize modern AI tooling to accelerate analysis and prototype models.
- •Translate analysis into crisp memos and clear commercial recommendations.
- •Requirements Approximately 3 years in a quantitative or analytical role, ideally supporting a founder or CEO.
- •Strong SQL skills, comfortable with complex joins and imperfect data.
- •Hands-on experience with AI tools like LLMs to enhance work speed and depth.
- •Commercial acumen to connect numbers to revenue, cost, and growth.
- •First-principles thinking, comfortable with ambiguity and structuring vague questions.
