• •Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) is seeking a Design Systems Lead to own and evolve the firm's design infrastructure.
• •This role involves translating the a16z brand into scalable templates, components, and AI-powered tools for firm-wide use.
• •Key Responsibilities Own and evolve the a16z design systems function, setting direction and maintaining standards.
• •Translate brand systems into scalable templates, components, and frameworks across various platforms.
• •Build repeatable systems for high-volume design needs to reduce reliance on designers.
• •Create tools and templates enabling non-designers to produce polished, on-brand work independently.
• •Requirements 4+ years of experience in brand design, design systems, or product design.
• •Deep command of visual identity and strong Figma skills, including design system management.
• •Experience writing and scaling AI skills, structuring reference frameworks and markdown files.
• •Comfortable with 'vibe-coding' and building lightweight apps/tools for design use cases.
