Engineering Manager (Product)

Lead a product engineering team, drive technical roadmaps, and mentor engineers.

• •Kaizen Labs is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a product engineering team.
• •This role is approximately 80% hands-on engineering and 20% people management, focusing on driving technical roadmaps, shipping high-quality features, and mentoring engineers.
• •Key Responsibilities Own and drive the technical roadmap for your team's area of the platform.
• •Write production code across the stack (React/Next.js, Node.js/TypeScript, Postgres).
• •Manage, mentor, and grow a small engineering team.
• •Collaborate with Product, Design, and Customer Ops to deliver solutions.
• •Requirements 6+ years of professional software development experience, with 1-2 years in a leadership role.
• •Strong full-stack engineering skills in React/Next.js, Node.js/TypeScript/Postgres.
• •Experience managing or mentoring engineers.
• •Comfort operating in ambiguity and a customer-obsessed mindset.
