Senior Engineering Technician supporting advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- •As a Senior Equipment Engineering Technician at ASM, you will support advanced semiconductor manufacturing and R&D operations.
- •You will work directly with ASM's advanced thermal and plasma ALD systems, troubleshooting complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and automation systems.
- •Key Responsibilities Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on ALD equipment.
- •Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and automation issues.
- •Monitor tool status and alarms, ensuring timely resolution.
- •Support equipment installations and commissioning.
- •Lead root-cause analysis activities to improve equipment reliability.
- •Requirements Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent military training. 3+ years of hands-on experience with complex equipment or semiconductor equipment.
- •Strong troubleshooting skills for electro-mechanical and microprocessor-controlled systems.
- •Ability to read mechanical schematics and electrical drawings.
- •Experience performing preventative maintenance and system diagnostics.
