•As a Senior Equipment Engineering Technician at ASM, you will support advanced semiconductor manufacturing and R&D operations.
•You will work directly with ASM's advanced thermal and plasma ALD systems, troubleshooting complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and automation systems.
•Key Responsibilities Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on ALD equipment.
•Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and automation issues.
•Monitor tool status and alarms, ensuring timely resolution.
•Support equipment installations and commissioning.
•Lead root-cause analysis activities to improve equipment reliability.
•Requirements Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent military training. 3+ years of hands-on experience with complex equipment or semiconductor equipment.
•Strong troubleshooting skills for electro-mechanical and microprocessor-controlled systems.
•Ability to read mechanical schematics and electrical drawings.
•Experience performing preventative maintenance and system diagnostics.
