Engineering Manager (Financial Systems)

• •As an Engineering Manager, you will build and lead the financial systems that power Kaizen Labs' mission, ensuring trust and reliability in every transaction.
• •This role involves significant hands-on engineering alongside people management.
• •Key Responsibilities Lead the accounting and payments roadmap, defining priorities and execution.
• •Own payments, processors, reporting, and financial accounting systems end-to-end.
• •Establish rigorous systems for reconciliation, alerting, and financial accuracy.
• •Collaborate with product engineering to design clean, abstracted interfaces for payments and reporting.
• •Manage and mentor a small team while remaining a strong individual contributor.
• •Requirements Experience building and scaling financial systems, including reconciliation and compliance.
• •Proficiency in integrating with payment processors and ERP systems.
• •Ability to design simple, abstracted payment and reporting interfaces.
