Staff Software Engineer (Fintech)

Designs and operates core fintech systems for global benefits management.

• •Benepass is building financial infrastructure for companies to manage benefits globally.
• •This role focuses on the core fintech platform, specifically ledgering, transaction processing, decisioning, and money movement systems.
• •Key Responsibilities Design and operate systems for ledgering, transaction processing, real-time decisioning, and global money movement.
• •Build systems that are correct by design, idempotent, strongly consistent, and fully auditable.
• •Own the end-to-end lifecycle of financial transactions, including state transitions and failure handling.
• •Requirements Experience building or operating systems in payments, card issuing, wallets, banking infrastructure, or global money movement platforms.
• •Deep understanding of financial systems, correctness, consistency, and reliability.
• •Proficiency in designing and operating high-integrity financial systems.
