Senior Staff Software Engineer - Pricing and Packaging

Lead technical direction and delivery for Gusto's internal Commerce Platform.

• •Lead technical direction and delivery for Gusto's internal Commerce Platform powering product catalog, pricing, promotions, subscriptions, and entitlements for 500k+ customers.
• •Key Responsibilities Design and own architecture for product catalog, promotion engine, subscription and entitlement systems.
• •Partner with product and cross-functional teams to define roadmap and drive adoption.
• •Deliver complex projects end-to-end from scoping through rollout and iteration.
• •Mentor engineers and lead technical reviews; improve observability and SLOs.
• •Requirements 10+ years software engineering experience with 2+ years in a tech lead/staff role.
• •Mastery in at least one language (examples: Ruby, Java, Python, Go).
• •Experience with platform reliability, observability, incident response, and SLOs.
