About the role
TL;DR
Develop and implement continuous learning strategies for real-world robot deployment.
- •As an Applied Researcher, you'll focus on improving our robots' performance in the real world by analyzing deployment data and implementing continuous learning loops.
- •Key Responsibilities Design and implement pipelines for continuous learning from deployment data.
- •Analyze sensor and video data to identify failure modes and improve model robustness.
- •Apply reinforcement learning techniques to enhance robot policies based on real-world data.
- •Develop automated monitoring systems to detect anomalies and near-failures in real time.
- •Ensure cross-scene generalization for robots deployed in new environments.
- •Collaborate with various teams to implement improvements from research findings to production.
- •Requirements Bias to ship and a passion for real-world impact.
- •Educational background in CS, Robotics, Statistics, or related field.
- •Hands-on experience with reinforcement learning, sensor-data modeling, or continual learning.
- •Experience with building data pipelines and designing production experiments.
- •Strong Python and PyTorch skills.
- •Ability to communicate data insights effectively.
