- •DroneDeploy is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to own the quality bar for the Aerial Capture team.
- •This hands-on, field-first role involves daily drone flights, defining and running test programs, and ensuring bugs are caught before reaching customers.
- •Key Responsibilities Conduct daily drone flights for regression, acceptance, and validation.
- •Define comprehensive test plans for new features and releases, identifying edge cases.
- •Coordinate QA test programs, write clear plans and checklists, and manage regression suites.
- •Build and maintain automation to reduce manual testing load and increase confidence, using an AI-first approach.
- •Track quality metrics and use them to improve processes and focus QA resources.
- •Requirements Access to 10+ acres for daily drone operations.
- •FAA Part 107 Certificate (can obtain upon hiring). 4+ years in QA/quality engineering for hardware or mobile products.
- •Strong coding/scripting skills in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar.
- •Experience with AI tooling for test design, maintenance, and analysis.
