- •HRL Laboratories is seeking a Research Engineer to lead and conduct research in agentic AI, intelligent decision support, and LLM-powered agent architectures.
- •This role involves designing and evaluating multi-agent systems and building knowledge-enhanced AI systems.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead research in agentic AI, intelligent decision support, and LLM-powered agent architectures.
- •Design, develop, and evaluate multi-agent systems for distributed decision-making.
- •Build knowledge-enhanced AI systems integrating knowledge graphs and multimodal retrieval.
- •Develop and apply graph machine learning techniques for pattern discovery and predictive analytics.
- •Develop trustworthy AI systems, including Explainable AI (XAI) and verification & validation.
- •Requirements M.S. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, Applied Mathematics, or related field with 3+ years of AI/ML experience.
- •Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, NLP, generative AI, and foundation models.
- •Experience with LLM-powered and agentic AI systems using modern agent frameworks.
- •Hands-on experience with graph mining, graph matching, and applied GML workflows.
- •Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and modern software engineering practices.
